Human Trafficking is one of the worlds oldest and most rampant violations of human rights ever concieved, and is generally the most accepted. Historacally, slavery has been an accepted aspect of society for centuries, if not millenia. The Roman Empire is often considered the climax of achievement and prosperity and freedom for the ancient world, but it was built entirely on slave labor, slaves outnumbering citezens 3:1. Not a single inhabbited region on earth has no history of slavery, but today it is seen as horrible and creul, because it is. By definition, human trafficking is the movement of people for purposes of labor, legal or illegal, but mostly the term refers to essentialy a modern day slave trade.

There are many organizations currently working to make people aware of the issue, as well as many who try to help rescue victims. Awareness is probably the best solution and many organizations have brought it upon themselves to make people aware. Trafficking is not affiliated with any government nor is it one entity, so it is very difficult to combat.
